Born: 6/27/1975 India   EMAIL: abhilashasingh012003@yahoo.co.in / abhi.art@hotmail.com Website: www.artmajeur.com/watercolour Born on 27th June 1975 in Lucknow; India Self-taught watercolour artist Qualification: B.A. from India; PGD from London Zodiac: Cancer I started painting at the age of 2, when I won my first painting competition. I developed a hobby of animation drawing while in school which grew into a serious past time. My love for colours was noticed by everyone in various local exhibitions and competitions I took part in as a child. I feel inspired by the works of early 16th – 17th century European artists. My clients have been from Spain, UK, Italy, Russia and India. My artworks have also been successfully displayed in art exhibitions in UK with many more exhibitions still to come. Exhibition – 1. `Perceptions of Woman` 25th-30th June 2007 Smithfield Gallery West Smithfield London EC1 At the above exhibition I was represented by OC-EO Art Gallery; UK 2. My works are due to be exhibited by OC-EO Art Gallery for their autumn 2007 exhibition in Bath; UK Gallery Display – Some of my recent paintings are displayed at Laneside Gallery; Ireland in their Christmas Show held on 24th of November 2007.
